Lockport Car Show, Farmers Market Begin

The farmers market on Aug. 10, and the car shows will begin Aug. 3.

LOCKPORT, IL — Downtown Lockport will soon be quite busy on Monday nights. The Lockport Chamber of Commerce has announced it will begin a farmers market on Aug. 10, and the city's weekly car shows will begin Aug. 3.

According to the city, the car shows will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. through the end of September. There will be no show on Sept. 7.

Cars will line State Street from Ninth to 11th streets in downtown Lockport. According to the city, there will also be live outdoor music under the Roxy marquee.

The farmers market will be held on 10th Street, east of State Street. The farmers market will also be held from 4 to 8 p.m. through the end of September.

A vendor list for the farmers market will be released soon.
