LOCKPORT, IL — Monday night car shows will now be held rain or shine in Lockport, according to a post from the City of Lockport.
The car show on July 11 was canceled due to the weather forecast, which called for storms, but the evening stayed dry and sunny. Several people complained about the cancelation on the City and the Park District's Facebook pages.
Even though the car shows will still take place rain or shine, the band and the market at Central Square are weather permitting, the city said on its Facebook.

Cruisin' Into Lockport car show nights will continue through Sept. 26. There is no show on Sept. 5 due to the Labor Day holiday.
