Lockport Central HS Tours Offered During Old Canal Days
Take a look at Lockport history during the campus tours on June 9 and June 10.
LOCKPORT, IL — If you'd like to see a piece of Lockport history, Lockport Township High School District 205 will hold campus tours of Central campus during Old Canal Days on June 9 and June 10.
Tours will kick off at 3 p.m. on June 9, and at noon on June 10. Those interested can meet at the main entrance of the school, 1222 Jefferson St.
District 205 has two schools in the district, and Central Campus serves as the freshman center. The other three grade levels attend Lockport East.

According to the District, Lockport Central was built in 1909, and two additions were built in 1930 and 1953. The campus opened as the freshman center in the fall of 1997.
