Lockport Chamber Of Commerce Donates Meals For First Responders
The chamber bought lunch from local restaurants for first responders from the Lockport Police Department and Silver Cross Hospital.
LOCKPORT, IL — The Lockport Chamber of Commerce recently purchased meals from some of its local restaurants to feed 150 first responders to help show support for its local businesses and first responders in the area.
According to a release, the chamber bought lunch from Papa Joe's, Panera Bread, Rosati's Pizza, Honeyfield Restaurant, George's Restaurant and Submarine City to feed first responders from the Lockport Police Department, DuPage Medical Group in Lockport, Lockport Express Medical and Silver Cross Hospital.

“We wanted to do our part to support our Chamber restaurant members as well as our first responders. Both have been impacted greatly by the coronavirus and we appreciate everything that they do” Tim Gaba, president of the Lockport Chamber of Commerce, said in the release. “We will continue to look for ways to support our members during this difficult time but know that we will get through these tough times together and be back stronger than ever!”
