LOCKPORT, IL — Lockport Police officers will participate in Cop on a Rooftop on Friday, May 18. You'll be able to see officers on the roof of Dunkin Donuts, 1069 E. Ninth St., from 5 a.m. to noon.
According to the department, the 16th annual Dunkin Donuts "Cop On a Rooftop" event supports and raises money for the law enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois.
The fundraising goal for Illinois's statewide Cop On A Rooftop events is $720,000. Stop by your favorite Dunkin Donuts and support your local Special Olympics athletes. Visit Special Olympics Illinois for a complete list of participating police departments and Dunkin Donuts locations.
