The Lockport Police Department said it anticipates many benefits from Arizzi's attendance in and successful completion of the program.

LOCKPORT, IL — Lockport Police Department's Detective Sergeant John Arizzi Jr. recently graduated from Northwestern University’s School of Police Staff and Command, and will be promoted to the position of Commander effective July 1.

The department said Arizzi successfully completed the ten week Staff and Command Program held in Plainfield from Jan. 8 to May 11.
