Lockport East's Community Wellness Center Open To The Public

LOCKPORT, IL — The Community Wellness Center, located at East Campus, provides community access to school district facilities to enhance the quality of life for all LTHS District 205 community members, the district said. Memberships to the center are available for those in high school and older.

The school said a membership gives you access to the indoor track, fitness room, weight room, lap swimming, open gym, shower and locker room facilities, along with additional member bonuses. The hours in the fall are 5:30 -7:30 a.m. and 6-10 p.m. Monday through Friday; noon-5 p.m. on Saturdays; and 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. Sundays. Lap swimming is available from 6 - 7:30 a.m. and from 8-9:45 p.m.

If guests want to use the indoor walking track, membership is not needed. You can walk the track from 5:30-7:30 a.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m.-noon on Saturdays and Sundays.

Annual membership fee is $125 for adults, $102 for senior citizens and $27 for a high school student. For a Membership Application form or a Program Registration form, visit www.lths.org and click on CWC under the Community link.
