Lockport Holds Meeting To Discuss I&M Canal Trail Improvements

LOCKPORT, IL — The city of Lockport will hold a public meeting about the I&M Canal trail from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at council chambers, 222 E. Ninth St. The city said the public can come out and learn about grant projects Lockport is pursuing for bike trail improvements.
The improvements would be on the trail from Division to Canal streets, the city said. Public works and the engineering department, as well as consultants from JSD Professional Services, Inc., will be at the meeting.
