Lockport Library Holds Program About Women's Suffrage Movement

"The Long Road To Victory: The Battle for Women's Right to Vote," will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. March 9.

LOCKPORT, IL — The White Oak Library District Lockport branch will hold "The Long Road To Victory: The Battle for Women's Right to Vote," from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. March 9.

The library said historical performer Annette Baldwin will present the experiences and views of five leaders in the women's suffrage movement: Lucretia Mott, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Susan B. Anthony, Alice Paul and Carrie Chapman Catt.
