Lockport Man Stabs, Attacks 63-Year-Old Woman: Cops
A Lockport man was charged with home invasion and aggravated battery from the incident.

LOCKPORT, IL — A Lockport man was arrested for stabbing and attacking a 63-year-old woman. Donald Rouser, 51, of the 400 block of Dellwood Avenue, was charged with home invasion and aggravated battery after the incident. Will County Sheriff's deputies were called at 9:15 p.m. Nov. 6 to the 18000 block of Godfrey Avenue in Lockport Township. Police said when they got there, they spoke with a 63-year-old woman who said she was just beaten up by Rouser, who was a former employee of hers.
The victim told police she was watching TV at about 9 p.m. when Rouser knocked on her door. Police said Rouser asked the victim for his job back and became angry when he was told that wouldn't happen. He pulled out a small knife and pushed his way into the residence, according to police.
Police said a struggle ensued during which Rouser struck the victim in the face and stabbed her before he left the scene. Lockport Township Fire transported the victim to Silver Cross with non-life threatening injuries. She suffered from two very small stab wounds on her chest and bruising and cuts to her face.

Police said that while searching the area, deputies located Rouser and brought him into the Investigations Division for an interview. He was booked into the adult detention facility and charged.
