Lockport Park District Plans Bunny Drive-By Parade

The park district asked parade-watchers not to congregate to view the bunny.

LOCKPORT, IL — Although egg hunts and other Easter events have been canceled at the Lockport Township Park District due to the coronavirus, the park district is still planning a bunny drive-by parade Friday.

The park district said the parade will take a route which surrounds the park district parks. The Lockport Township Park District services Lockport and parts of Romeoville and Crest Hill.

The bunny will be on a bus riding around Lockport parks from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and then will travel around Romeoville and Crest Hill parks from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

The park district asked parade-watchers not to congregate to view the bunny. The bunny will remain on the bus.

The exact route will be posted Thursday, the park district said.
