Lockport Park District Plans Storytime In The Park

The storytime celebrates the class of 2020 graduates and those who hope to travel again soon.

LOCKPORT, IL — The Lockport Township Park District will be holding a storytime in the park, while still maintaining social distancing and following local health authority guidelines. Instead of the usual storytime, the park district has placed signs with the words of "Oh, The Places You'll Go!" around Adelmann and Karen Springs Park.

The storytime celebrates the class of 2020 graduates and those who hope to travel again soon. The park district said story signs will start at the Weis Lane entrance to the park.

Public Relations and Marketing Supervisor Pam Hutton told Patch there will be 33 total signs around the park and the signs are already on display.
