Lockport Receives Financial Reporting Award

LOCKPORT, IL — The city of Lockport has received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association. The city said this award was given for its Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the fiscal year ended 2017.

According to the city, the Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents an accomplishment by a government and its management.
