Lockport Teen Kicks Nurse In Face: Cops
Johnson-Medrano was being treated for a medical condition when she allegedly struck a nurse.

LOCKPORT, IL — A Lockport teenager has been charged with aggravated battery after allegedly kicking a nurse in the face, police said. Alicia Johnson-Medrano, 19, of the 16700 block of West Apache Drive, was charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer and was booked into Will County Jail Wednesday morning.
New Lenox Police Department said officers were dispatched to Silver Cross Hospital at 2:14 a.m. Wednesday for a battery to a nurse. Johnson-Medrano was being treated for a medical condition, while during treatment she allegedly struck a nurse.
Police said she is alleged to have struck the nurse several times and to have kicked her in the face. She was arrested by New Lenox Police and taken to Will County Jail. Johnson-Medrano was still in custody at the jail as of Thursday.
