Lockport Township Fire District Plans Open House
The open house will be held from noon to 4 p.m. at Fire Station No. 6, 19623 Renwick Road, on Oct. 1.
LOCKPORT, IL - In honor of National Fire Prevention Week, the Lockport Township Fire Protection District has planned an open house on Oct. 1.
The open house will be held from noon to 4 p.m. at Fire Station No. 6, 19623 Renwick Road.
Nicor Gas will participate in the open house, sharing important information and resources to help families know what to do in the event of a natural gas emergency, according to a release from the business.

There will also be a bounce house, teddy bear clinic, obstacle course, and displays from specialty teams. Guests will also have the chance to meet Lockport firefighters.
A technical rescue demo will be held at 1 p.m., followed by the Lifestar helicopter at 2 p.m., and a fire sprinkler demo at 3 p.m.
