Lockport VFW Will No Longer Show NFL Games

LOCKPORT, IL —Lockport VFW Post 5788 will no longer show NFL games, due to some teams and players kneeling during the national anthem. According to the Post Commander, E.J. Errico, the announcement came after Sunday's NFL games, where several teams and players either knelt or stayed off the field.

Errico told CBS News that the protests are a disrespect to the country and to everyone who has fought for the flag.

"I would like to see some players get fired,"he told CBS, adding that was the only way NFL games would be shown again at the VFW.

Errico told WJOL he hopes this action and similar ones at VFW's will hurt the NFL's pocket book.
