LOCKPORT, IL — A Lockport Township woman has been arrested after stabbing her roommate in the hand, Will County Sheriff's Office said. Felicia Wiggins, 52, of the 2100 block of Fairview Avenue, has been charged with aggravated assault and domestic battery.

According to the sheriff's office, deputies were called to the 2100 block of Fairview around 2 p.m. April 18. When they arrived, they spoke to a 57-year-old man who said he had been stabbed in the hand by his roommate, Wiggins. Deputies saw the underside of the victim's right hand near his fingers to have a laceration which was slightly bleeding.

The sheriff's office said deputies then entered the home and spoke to Wiggins. She was uncooperative. Reports indicate a verbal argument turned physical with a kitchen knife involved. The victim told police Wiggins initially attempted to stab him, and during a struggle, he was able to grab the knife away from her.
