HOMER GLEN, IL — A man was stabbed during a fight at sports bar in Homer Glen Sunday, the Will County Sheriff's office said. Deputies were called to Davidson's Bar and Grill, 14136 S. Bell Road, at 1:24 a.m. for a stabbing.

Police said they spoke with the manager and several witnesses at the bar, which was full since the Ultimate Fighting Championship was on TV. Witnesses told police two separate groups, with about eight people in each group, got into a fight inside the bar after one group accused a man from the other group of spitting on them.

Two men got into a fight which was then broken up, according to police. When police arrived, some of the people involved in the fight were still outside. Police spoke to a 43-year-old man who said he was in the fight and was stabbed.
