Kenneth Walter Joslin
Kenneth Walter Joslin, age 89, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, June 15, 2026 at Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care. Ken was born on November 14, 1936, in Racine, Wisconsin, where he enjoyed many summer days swimming in Lake Michigan with his two sisters and brother. He was the son of the late Orville and Violet (nee Fellion) Joslin.

Ken earned his master’s degree in chemical engineering at University of Wisconsin-Madison. He dedicated 27 years to Mobil Oil, during which he worked and lived in Dallas, TX; London, England; New Orleans; Japan; and Indonesia.
Ken leaves behind his devoted wife of 46 years, Linda (nee Conrad) Joslin. Together, they enjoyed traveling both internationally and throughout the United States, creating cherished memories along the way. When he wasn't spending time with family, Ken found joy in tending to his garden, listening to classical music, and relaxing with his beloved feline companions.

Ken is survived by his loving wife, Linda; his children; Kimberly Fischer, Christopher (Marla) of Tusla, OK, Nicholas (Roxanne) of Leavenworth, KS, Ken of Yorkville, IL, and Scott (Jaeyeon) of Pacific Palisades, CA; eight beloved grandchildren; special sister-in-law, Lynn Conrad Masters; nephew, Karl (Kristina) Masters; nieces, Melissa (Robert) Surrette, Megan Merino, and Jennifer Conrad. Many great nieces and nephews also survive.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Ken’s name to any charity of the donor’s choice.
A memorial gathering for Kenneth W. Joslin will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL. As it was Kenneth’s request, cremation rites have been accorded.
