Old Canal Days: Schedule Of Events
Old Canal Days kicks off with a carnival on Thursday.
LOCKPORT, IL — The 50th Old Canal Days will kick off on Thursday, bringing a carnival, live music, fireworks, an artisan market and more, to Lockport from June 8-11 at 303 W. Second St.
Carnival mega passes can be purchased for $65 at the event.
Carnival hours are 5 to 11:30 p.m. on June 8 and June 9, 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on June 10, and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on June 11.

A parade will be held on June 9, and steps off at 6 p.m., marching through downtown Lockport on State Street, according to the event website. The parade will end at Third Street; there will be road closures to allow for the parade.
The artisan market will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on June 10 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 11, sponsored by the Lockport Woman's Club.

- Friends with Disabilities Day (those with disabilities and their immediate family members can enjoy free, unlimited carnival rides) from 2 to 5 p.m.
- Carnival opens, 5 to 11:30 p.m.

- Historic Lockport Township High School tours, 3 to 4:30 p.m.
- Carnival, 5 to 11:30 p.m.
- Food court, 5 to 11 p.m.
- Parade, 6 to 7 p.m. The parade celebrates area businesses and organizations as the participants stroll through downtown Lockport waving and handing out candy.
