Stolen Cars, DUI: Homer Glen, Lockport Police Reports

The following information is from the Will County Sheriff's Office. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Lockport

• A 2002 Toyota Avalon was stolen from the parking lot of Mt. Ebal Baptist Church in the 200 block of Cameron on Feb. 27. The car had been parked there for several months.

Homer Glen

• Two garage door openers were stolen on Feb. 28 in the 14000 block of South Pebble Creek Drive.
• A 2007 Volkswagen Passat was stolen at 5:45 a.m. Feb. 28 in the 14000 block of South Cricketwood Court. The owner had started the car and went back inside to allow the car to warm up before leaving for work.
• Mark Wilczak, 60, of Hobart, Indiana, was arrested March 1 at 159th Street and South Parker Road and charged with DUI and driving while license suspended.
• A 2015 Mazda 3 was stolen from the 14000 block of South Eagle Ridge Drive on March 2. The owner told police that he had lost his spare fob a month ago and thought he had left it inside the car, but could never find it.
