Teen Robbed, Car Stolen: Homer Glen, Lockport Police Reports

Will County Sheriff's Office reports through July 16.

The following information is from the Will County Sheriff's Office. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Homer Glen

  • A white 2016 Nissan Murano was stolen from the 14000 block of South Cedar Road on July 12. The car was left unlocked with the key fob inside the center console. A laptop was also stolen from an unlocked company truck.
  • An unlocked vehicle was entered in the 13000 block of South Cherokee Trail and two wallets with cash inside were stolen from the center console on July 12.
  • An unlocked car parked in front of a home was entered in the 13000 block of South Cherokee Trail on July 12. Nothing was stolen.

Lockport

  • A 17-year-old male told police he was robbed after setting up a meeting with another person to sell his iPhone on July 13 in the 300 block of Princeton. The sale and meeting were set up through the Let Go website. At 10:30 a.m., the two met and when the victim showed the other man his phone, he took it and ran off. The victim chased the subject and was met by a second male who displayed a knife and warned the victim to leave. The victim left the area and was not injured.
