Teens Trash Homer Glen Wendy's Bathroom: Cops

Witnesses said they believed the teenagers were from Lemont High School.

HOMER GLEN, IL — A group of teenagers trashed a Wendy's bathroom in Homer Glen, according to Will County Sheriff's office police reports. Deputies were called to Wendy's, 14115 S. Bell Road, at 9:42 p.m. Oct. 17 for a report of criminal damage to property.

Police said they spoke with employees who said they saw several teenagers enter the dining area. The teens went into the men's bathroom and when they exited, they left the restaurant.

After the teens left, an employee went into the bathroom and saw the toilet was smashed, the soap dispenser was ripped off the wall and there was toilet water all over the floor. According to police, witnesses said they believed the teenagers were from Lemont High School.

Video surveillance cameras are being reviewed, police said.
