WILL COUNTY, IL — As we head out shopping for the holiday season or order gifts online, the Will County Sheriff's Office is providing some holiday safety tips to residents.
"No better time for thieves to be out looking for valuables than the Christmas shopping season," the sheriff's office said on its Facebook.
If you are at home, the sheriff's office advised locking your cars, removing your keys/fob and removing all valuables from your car. You should also set alarms when going to bed, and call police to report suspicious activity.
