Woman Robbed In Meijer Parking Lot: Homer Glen Police Reports

The following information is from the Will County Sheriff's Office. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.
Sept. 5
- A 76-year-old woman was robbed at 8 p.m. while in the parking lot of Meijer, 14169 S. Bell Road. The victim told police that while placing her groceries into the trunk of her vehicle from her shopping cart, a car with four unknown individuals inside pulled up to her shopping cart. One of the individuals leaned out of the rear passenger window, grabbed her purse from the child seat area of the cart, and they sped off. The victim had her cell phone, driver’s license, and multiple credit cards inside her purse.

- Nicholas Flanc, 31, of Lemont, was arrested in the 14000 block of South Founders Crossing for DUI, screeching tires and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
