Woman Lied about Being Punched, Slashed by Robbers: Cops

Police are trying to find a woman who claimed she was attacked by two men during an attempted burglary.

Police are looking for a 28-year-old Lockport woman who they say fabricated an account of an attempted robbery and physical attack.

Crystal L. Juliano, of the 1700 block of S. Jefferson St., told police two men approached her Wednesday and demanded money. She then said they punched her in the face when she refused, and that they slashed at her with a knife.

An investigation by police concluded the woman had fabricated the report, police said. They have since issued a warrant for her arrest, on felony disorderly conduct charges. The warrant for her arrest carries a $25,000 bond.
