Wrigley Fields Gets Top 30 Finish at IHSA Diving Finals
Lockport High School sophomore with unique name finishes among top divers in state.

LOCKPORT, IL - Wrigley Fields, a sophomore diver at Lockport Township High School who won the rooting interest of many due to his unique name tied to the Chicago Cubs, placed in the top 30 overall at the IHSA Diving State Finals over the weekend at New Trier High School in Winnetka.
Fields was the only Joliet-area diver to advance to the state championship weekend, but was unable to earn a spot in the semifinals. He placed 28th overall out of 48 qualifiers.
"Not bad for diving just over a year and being a sophomore," said Kathy Fields, Wrigley's mother. "His dad and I are very proud."

With his quick rise and unique name which he completely embraces, this may not be the last time we hear from Fields. His favorite baseball team (the Chicago Cubs, of course) came up short of a championship when their rise began in 2015.
But one year later, well, you know the rest.
