The First Responders Challenge/Family Fun Day 2014 will be
held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 in Fishel Park - right in the heart of
downtown Downers Grove [on Grove Street just west of Main Street].
A first responders obstacle course challenge event will be held on the park
grounds including competitors from DuPage and Cook County police and fire
department teams - as well as other family-friendly events and activities
throughout the day. Those will include wood building stations, a caricature
artist, inflatables and other fun.
Attendees can register a trip for 4 to Cancun from Travalati and two iPad
mini's provided by Platinum Sponsor Country Financial!
Food and beverages will be available for purchase, provided by Scuddlebutts
Pizza and Catering.
The top 3 winners of the obstacle course challenge will receive trophies and
certificates authenticating their wins, along with cash prizes awarded to the
respective police stations/fire houses.
