2 New Police Officers in Homewood
Homewood Police Department adds to its force with two recent college grads.

HOMEWOOD, IL - The Homewood Police Department has hired two new officers. Rocco Giannelli and Henry Renken were sworn in as police officers at a village board meeting last week, according to a report from the Homewood-Flossmoor Chronicle.
Giannelli is a 23-year-old Palos Hills native who graduated from Stagg High School and later received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Governors State University. Renken is a 27-year-old Lyons Township High School graduate who received a bachelor’s degree in criminal social justice from Lewis University in 2015.
Both new officers come to Homewood from the Cook County Department of Corrections.
