Adoption Fees Waived at 'Empty the Shelter' at South Suburban Humane Society

Thinking of adding a new, furry family member? Your timing couldn’t be better.

South Suburban Humane Society in Chicago Heights will waive adoption fees on all dogs, cats, puppies and kittens Saturday, August 30 and Sunday, August 31.

“Empty the Shelter” will be held from 12 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 12 to 5 p.m. Sunday, at 1103 West End Ave. in Chicago Heights. Standard adoption procedures and policies apply. Some pets may require a $15 Rabies vaccination deposit.
