Historical interpreter Leslie Goddard, a Road Scholar with the Illinois Humanities Council, will bring to life an American aviator's courageous exploits and spirited personality in a program entitled "Never Lost: Amelia Earhart Before the Legend" at the next meeting of the Homewood Historical Society at the Homewood Library. This event is being produced through a partnership with the Road Scholars Speakers Bureau of the Illinois Humanities Council, which provides organizations statewide with affordable, entertaining, and thought-provoking humanities events for their communities.
