Chicago, IL, November 30, 2012 – The much-awaited new private party room at Aurelio’s Pizza Homewood recently opened and right in time for holiday parties and large gatherings.

Year-round, parties are popular at Aurelio’s but, during the holidays, the family pizzeria definitely sees an increase in bookings, and especially bookings of large parties. To accommodate, the new 1,200 sq. ft. private party room, dubbed Joe’s Party Room, will hold parties of up to 90. Aurelio’s has already started taking reservations for this year’s Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations.
With its exposed bricked back wall, high wood-beamed ceilings, big screen TVs and heavily windowed outer walls, Joe’s Party Room has an inviting, comfortable, warm ambiance.
The creation of the new room also is a response to current economic trends. Especially over the past several holiday seasons, Aurelio’s has noticed its patrons searching out more affordable options to host parties than are possible with the traditional party rooms.
“I think people love Aurelio’s for their holiday parties because it’s a taste they grew up on. When loved ones come back home to visit, it’s nice to share a meal and experience that really says they’re home. And, for five generations that has been Aurelio’s,” said Joe Aurelio, president, Aurelio’s Pizza. “We are excited about the opening of our new, beautiful private room to host the special gatherings and occasions in our customers’ lives.”
The new Aurelio’s Homewood party room created new jobs for a dozen area businesses and more than 75 hard-working tradesmen through the construction process. Aurelio’s anticipates it also will create additional hours for the 148 associates it currently employs.
