Back To School Movie Night Planned In Flossmoor
H-F and Flossmoor District 161 officials will be on hand before a viewing of The Jungle Book in Flossmoor Park on August 18.

FLOSSMOOR, IL -- The Flossmoor community will celebrate the return of the school year with a "Movie in the Park" night at Flossmoor Park, where the movie "The Jungle Book" will be shown on Friday, Aug. 18.
The back-to-school event is new in Flossmoor and will include both the Homewood-Flossmoor High School District and Flossmoor Elementary School District 161. Both H-F Superintendent Dr. Von Mansfield and District 161 Superintendent Dana Smith plan to be in attendance, according to Flossmoor Assistant Village Manager Allison Deitch.
A meet-and-greet, which will have a bounce house, will begain at the park at 6 p.m. The movie will begin at 7:45 p.m.
