Banned Men Found At Kohl's, Home Depot: Cops
A woman picked up a DUI charge after an afternoon crash at Dixie Highway and Hickory Road: Police Blotter.

The following information is from the Homewood Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.
DUI
Renita Carter, 31, of Chicago Heights was stopped after a traffic crash at Dixie Highway and Hickory Road at 12:02 p.m. on Aug. 20 and cited for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with an alcohol concentrate of .08 or more.

Driving Too Fast For Conditions
Javier Mata, 25, of Steger was stopped after a traffic crash at 183rd Street and Dixie Highway at 4:21 p.m. on Aug. 20 and was cited for driving too fast for conditions and driving while license suspended/revoked.

Speeding
Robert Rose Jr., 47, of Flossmoor was stopped at 183rd Street and Dixie Highway at 9:05 p.m. on Aug. 21 and was cited for speeding and driving while license suspended/revoked.
Vincent Hinton, 23, of Lansing was stopped in the 18500 block of Halsted Street at 12:32 p.m. on Aug. 23 and cited with speeding and driving while license suspended/revoked.
Trespassing
Jeremy Darty, 21, of the 19100 block of Pierce Avenue was cited with trespassing and criminal trespass to real property at 3:13 p.m. on Aug. 22 at Kohl's, 17620 Halsted. Darty entered the store after having been given notice in January 2018 that he was not allowed on the property.
Retail Theft
Tyrone Robinson, 55, of Country Club Hills was cited with retail theft at 7:02 p.m. on Aug.22 at Kohl's. Robinson concealed a clothing item and exited the store without paying for the merchandise which had a total retail value of $25. Felony charges were approved based on Robinson’s prior convictions.
Jeremiah Nesbitt, 28, of Chicago Heights was cited for retail theft and criminal trespass to real property at 5:51 p.m. on Aug. 22 at Home Depot, 17845 Halsted St. Nesbitt removed items from the sales floor and exited the store without paying for the merchandise which had a total retail value of $106.88. Nesbitt had been given prior notice in September 2017 that he was not allowed on the property.
