A Black Trek, 24-inch, men’s mountain bike valued at about $500 was reported stolen Dec. 23 from Flossmoor Park, according to Flossmoor police reports.
The bike’s owner told police he secured the bike to a rack east of the Metra tunnel at the park between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. He remembers double-checking the cable and lock to make sure they were secure, the report stated.
