Heather Hill Promotes "Dream Big, READ"
On Wednesday, May 23rd, Linda Caplan and Beth Nichols of the Flossmoor Public Library paid a visit to Heather Hill School to promote the "Dream Big, READ!"
On Wednesday, May 23rd, Linda Caplan and Beth Nichols of the Flossmoor Public Library paid a visit to Heather Hill School to promote the “Dream Big, READ!” summer reading program. The program, which starts June 4th, encourages children to read while enabling them to maintain their reading skills during summer vacation. During the visit, students acted out the poem, “The 12 Days of Summer” to the tune of “The 12 Days of Christmas” and were delighted to learn that a “Kindle” was the top prize to be awarded. What a wonderful opportunity to take reading to the “next level!”
