Force drops 5-0 game to Stateline Fury despite efforts of Frassinone

Liz Frassinone did all she could to give Force a boost, but it wasn't enough to get past Stateline Fury, as Force lost 5-0 in seven innings at Stateline Fury Dad's Day Classic on Sunday. Force was led by Frassinone's hitting. Frassinone went 2-3. She singled in the second and seventh innings. Stateline Fury couldn't get anything going as long as Sarah Burke was pitching. Stateline Fury managed just one hit off of Burke, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out six during her 4 2/3 innings of work.  Johnson recorded the win for Stateline Fury. She tossed 6 2/3 innings of shutout ball. Johnson struck out nine, walked two and gave up three hits. Stateline Fury stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the first, scoring three runs on a groundout by Carlson and a two-run single by Smith.
