Infant Jesus of Prague School celebrates Catholic Schools Week events.
celebrated the advantage of Catholic Education from Sunday, Jan. 29 through Saturday, Feb. 4.
The school hosted multiple Catholic Schools Week events. It thanked its supporters and showed appreciation to students, teachers and parents. Celebrations for faith, academics and service abounded throughout the week.

IJP School principal, Mr. Dan Smith addressed the parish from the pulpit on Sunday, Jan. 29. He thanked members for their support of education at Infant Jesus of Prague School. Pastor, Fr. Mike Nacius and multiple students spoke of the great possibilities that Catholic Education offers. The school board hosted hospitality at the Infant Jesus of Prague School Parish Life Center. The event offered fellowship and refreshments for members of the Parish. Families reminisced about years gone by and the importance of IJP School within the local community. The event kicked-off the week with recognition of faith.

The IJP PTO hosted a book sale from Sunday, Jan. 29 to Sunday, Feb. 4. The PTO hosted the pro-literacy event in the school library. PTO President, Karyn Lewis guided the group’s weeklong event schedule and on Tuesday, Jan. 31, the PTO provided entertainment for the students of the school with the musical, “Godspell.”
The cast sang and danced through the performance. They presented the popular tune, “Day By Day.” The message of the Gospel was translated musically. The school-week closed with a Fun Lunch in which parents provided Subway sandwiches for Student Appreciation Day.
IJP School Open House & Open House Preview
30 new families attended the Open House Preview event at Infant Jesus of Prague School on Thursday, Feb. 2. The preview was from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. It began with fellowship and refreshments. The Parent Ambassador Group as well as student ambassadors hosted hospitality. Principal, Mr. Dan Smith addressed those interested with a detailed presentation. It was followed by a dynamic tour, which was guided by School Registrar, Ms. Peggy Dull.
The IJP Open House featured a Marble Maze, Wax Museum and Science Fair presentations. IJP academics were celebrated. Students, teachers and families partook in the festivities. Gym Jam
The Gym Jam culminated the week-long celebration of Catholic Education at Infant Jesus of Prague School on Saturday, Feb. 3. It highlighted the many fun and active elements of the IJP School community. IJP students and families attended the event. It featured karaoke, various athletic stations as well as refreshments. The school pulled together as a united family during Catholic Schools Week of 2012.
