Infant Jesus of Prague School hosts annual Geography Bee

"Which state is a major producer of pineapples?" questioned Infant Jesus of Prague School principal, Mr. Daniel Smith.

Infant Jesus of Prague School hosted its annual Geography Bee on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the school's gymnasium. School principal, Mr. Smith emceed the event and delivered difficult questions to qualifying 4th through 8th graders. Geography Bee coordinator and Junior High Social Studies instructor, Ms. Donna Rosenberger looked on and judged responses throughout the event.

Returning champion, IJP 8th grader, Robert Venegas walked away with the crown for 2nd straight year. When asked about his geographical skills, Venegas said, "My dad teaches history so I think it kind of rubs off."
