Infant Jesus of Prague School Hosts Early Learning Celebration

Infant Jesus of Prague School Hosts Early Learning Celebration

Play is an instrumental element in child development. Infant Jesus of Prague School combined the elements of play and instruction for the Early Learning Celebration. It was held at the school on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 from 6:45 – 7:45 pm.

“The Early Learning Celebration brought the community together, provided an opportunity for fellowship and showed our commitment to academic excellence in the fundamental, formative years of 2 through 6," Assistant Principal Steve Chorak said.

The celebration was an opportunity in which small children played with others of their own age. Parents assisted children in play activities such as “IJP Buckets,” “Makin’ Words” and “Puzzling.” They also fellowshipped and enjoyed refreshments. Teachers of Infant Jesus of Prague School led families in Spanish songs, as well as art and literacy-based activities.
