Infant Jesus of Prague School Hosts Play Group

 

Play is an instrumental element in child development. Service is an important principle for Infant Jesus of Prague School. IJP combined the two for the 2012-2013 school year with a Play Group.

“The Play Group is an opportunity for our school to provide a service for the community," Assistant Principal Steve Chorak said. "We are able to combine the principles of fellowship for families, free play and education through this initiative.”

The Play Group is a great opportunity for small children to play with others of their own age. Parents who participate receive a chance to engage in play activities with their children.

  • Social opportunities
  • Hand-eye coordination
  • Early literacy formation
  • Problem-solving abilities

Activities are thematic and seasonal. There is something for parents of children who are 1-, 2-, 3- and 4-years-old. The next Play Group is scheduled for Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 10 am - 11 am at the Infant Jesus of Prague Church Hall.
