Sarah Burke threw a shutout to lift Force to a 3-0 win over Revolution Elite at USSSA Heritage Classic in six innings.
Burke was in control on the rubber. Revolution Elite managed just one hit off of Burke, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out seven during her six innings of work.
Force stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the fourth, scoring one run on an RBI double by Taylor Kwiatt.
