Rotary Club of Homewood Promotes Literacy at Infant Jesus of Prague School

 

Dr. Gary Nordbrock of the Rotary Club of Homewood asked, “What is literacy?”

Students used the dictionaries provided by the Club to find the answer. An IJP 3rd grader replied, “Literacy is the ability to speak, read and write.”

Dr. Nordbrock and Michael Ryan presented dictionaries to the 3rd grade students at Infant Jesus of Prague School on Tuesday, November 13, 2012. Their efforts were expressed. “We are here to promote literacy around the world,” said Ryan.
