St. Joseph School Celebrates First Full Week of School with Family Mass and School Blessing

St. Joseph School starts off new year with a Family Mass and School Blessing

After getting reacquainted with teachers and schoolmates, meeting new friends, learning about their expectations for the year, and all the new and exciting things happening in the school, students at St. Joseph School in Homewood ended their first week with a Family Mass and School Blessing.

When mass ended, students, teachers, and staff gathered in the front of the school where Fr. Richard Kozak said a few prayers and blessed the school. Principal Tom Kozak then welcomed each grade into the school with a special message for each:

We welcome preschoolers as they begin the year learning about Jesus and making new friends.
