Astro Yoga: Gemini Season

We will gather monthly to explore the current astrological sun sign and its unique qualities. Each planet and zodiac sign is connected to specific areas of the physical body, offering insight into how cosmic energies may be reflected within us. Together, we’ll move through a thoughtfully designed yoga practice and incorporate meditation, affirmations, essential oils, journaling prompts, and altar suggestions to help embody and connect with the sign of the season.

The zodiac begins with Aries, the sun sign spanning March 21–April 19. Aries season opens on the Spring Equinox, the sacred midpoint between the winter and summer solstices—a time of balance, renewal, and forward momentum. A fire sign symbolized by the bold and courageous ram, Aries is ruled by Mars, the planet of action and vitality. This season invites you to awaken your inner warrior and channel your energy toward growth, courage, and your highest potential.

The phrase “As above, so below” reminds us that the universe and the individual are deeply interconnected, reflecting one another. We’ll discuss the current cosmic influences and explore ways to ground and center ourselves for greater self-awareness, balance, and personal growth.

Please bring your yoga mat and an optional notebook or journal to record insights and revelations. 

You are invited to come dressed comfortably, bring your yoga mat, and wear anything that helps you feel comfortable when lying down and moving.

When you register, you may pay for a single session, use a class credit from a package, or use your monthly membership.

Please note that no refunds will be provided. If you need to cancel, your credit may be applied toward a future event at the studio. However, if you do not cancel and do not attend, your credit will be forfeited.

Gemini | May 19

 Gemini season falls between spring and summer, from May 21 to June 21. This shift in energy is the air element moving us along, symbolized by the twins (a sign of duality), representing a light, expansive force that invites us to move outward in our minds and actions. The planet Mercury rules Gemini, the planet of communication, inspiring us to exchange ideas, explore what interests us, and to connect with others.

Cancer | June 23

Cancer sun season always occurs at the start of the summer solstice, when the sun is at its highest position in the sky, bringing us longer days and shorter nights, from June 21 to July 22. The crab is the symbol of Cancer, and crabs often molt, shedding their old shell to move on to the next stage of life. Cancer is the only sign ruled by the moon, reminding us to turn inward, listen to our emotions, and find the nourishment needed to grow and evolve. Our focus will be on nurturing deep, meaningful connections to one’s home and close relations.

Leo season hits us at the peak of summer. July 23-Aug 22 is when the sun moves through the bold and fiery zodiac sign Leo, making it the 2nd fire sign, ruled by the Sun. The lion serves as the symbol for this sign, representing qualities such as confidence, enthusiasm, passion, and playfulness. This is our time to shine, create, express, and celebrate with others.
