The Cancer Support Center presents a cooking demo with Chef David

The Cancer Support Center will host a cooking demo presented by guest chef, David Brandt, on April 14, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at its Homewood location, 2028 Elm Road, Homewood, Ill., offered at no charge. This cooking demo menu will feature an albacore tuna salad, salmon salad and organic roasted walnut; all promoting a healthy lifestyle. Please register for this program by calling The Cancer Support Center at (708) 798-9171.

Guest chef, David Brandt realized his love for food at a young age. David's passion was not for simply eating, or even cooking, but understanding the relationship between people and their meals. David spent years working with and feeding the terminally ill, and he could truly understand the importance of our relationship with food. Often, family members, doctors, and even patients themselves would be in awe at their improved conditions as a result of eating healthier.
