The Cancer Support Center presents Tibetan Bowl Group Sound Bath

On Thursday, July 23, 2015, The Cancer Support Center will host a Tibetan Bowl Group Sound Bath at its Mokena location, 19657 S. LaGrange Road, Mokena, IL 60448, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., presented by Jayne Hayes, Reiki Master Practitioner & Vibrational Sound Practitioner.

Vibrational sound with singing bowls work with the energy field that extends from our physical bodies and relaxes our brain waves. It is called a ‘bath’ because our bodies are bathed in sounds. Please bring a pillow and blanket.

In 2014, The Center provided more than 10,700 hours of programming and more than 300 free wigs, scarves and hats to women who were losing their hair due to chemotherapy, demonstrating the need in its communities. Offices are located in Homewood, 2028 Elm Road, and Mokena, 19657 S. LaGrange Road, and the programs are also facilitated at several hospitals and cancer centers in the southland communities. The Center is able to provide these resources to anyone regardless of financial ability because of the generosity of individuals, businesses and organizations.
