Cancer Support Center's Coping with Grief: Free Virtual Program

The Cancer Support Center is pleased to announce a special virtual program, "How to Cope with Grief and Loss," presented by Jason Kieffer, LCPC, Program Director at the Cancer Support Center and a specialist in grief counseling. This vital program will take place via Zoom on Monday, March 17th at 4:00 PM CST.

Coping with the loss of a loved one can be an incredibly challenging journey. This program aims to provide attendees with a deeper understanding of the common aspects of grief, strategies for seeking necessary support, and guidance on how to support loved ones who are also grieving. "It is hard to know what is normal and how long grief should last. Furthermore, comparing our grief to others can often make the situation worse," explains Kieffer. "This program will help you navigate these complexities and find healthy coping mechanisms."

Jason Kieffer, LCPC brings extensive expertise in grief counseling to this program, offering invaluable insights and support to participants. As Program Director at the Cancer Support Center, he is dedicated to providing compassionate care and resources to individuals and families impacted by cancer.
