CBBEL’s Jeff Ehrhart Promoted to Assistant Department Head of Structural Engineering Department
Ehrhart has served as CBBEL Project Manager in municipalities across Illinois, including Flossmoor

Christopher B. Burke Engineering, Ltd. (CBBEL) has promoted Jeff Ehrhart to Assistant Department Head of the Structural Engineering Department. As Assistant Department Head, Ehrhart will handle client relations and business development, in addition to his transportation-related work on roadways and bridges across the state.
“Jeff is a perfect fit for Assistant Department Head of Structural Engineering,” said Christopher B. Burke, PhD, PE, D.WRE, Dist.M.ASCE, and President of CBBEL. “His 19 years of experience are a huge asset to CBBEL and we’re proud to call him a member of our team.”
Ehrhart joined CBBEL in 2012 as Senior Project Manager. He has vast experience in the transportation industry, completing projects with the Illinois Department of Transportation, Chicago Department of Transportation, Metra and the Illinois Tollway.

Ehrhart has served as CBBEL Project Manager in municipalities across Illinois, including bridge projects in Rolling Meadows, Flossmoor, Northlake and Westchester. He has also worked on some of Chicagoland’s most famous golf courses, including Medinah County Club and Shore Acres.

Ehrhart is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Structural Engineers Association of Illinois and Toastmasters International. He earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois in 1997.
