Chicago Music Award Winner! The Instinct.
Stacy Norris and the Instinct have won the Chicago Music Award for Most Talented Teens.
H-F high school freshman Stacy Norris and her band the Instinct have won the Chicago Music Award for Most Talented Teens. Hosted by NBC’s Art Norman, the Awards Gala took place at the Logan Center for the Arts and was a star studded event with local and international musicians and artists. Stacy is the high power drummer of the band that plays classic and contemporary blues and aims to keep this unique American genre alive for younger generations. Other members of the band include Aval Zaucha (keyboards/harmonica), Donovan Lawnicki (Bass guitar/vocals), Adem Dalipi (guitar), and Grady Caplin (guitar). About the award, they said “We are honored to have won the award for Most Talented Teens. We would like to thank our parents and we are sincerely grateful for the support we received from so many amazing people, particularly those in our own communities who voted for us.” Thank you Homewood-Flossmoor!
